Literacy:  We are looking at apostrophes for possession (briefly as revision from last week) and then moving on to apostrophes for contraction.  For extended and creative writing we are exploring the features of diaries and writing a diary as Omri after discovering the magic of the cupboard works.

Numeracy:  My maths group will be looking at fractions of amounts this week which links in well to our division work from last week.

English: We are looking at apostrophes for possession this week as well as recapping on speech marks.  The children will be writing an imagined conversation between two of the characters from our class text.  There will also be some creative writing later in the week imagining what it would be like to be in a world where you are tiny and everything around you is huge.
