Maths:  We are looking at division this week.  We begin the week looking at quick fire multiplication sums and then relate this to divisions.  By the end of the week we are working on formal methods of division (‘bus stop’ method).

English:  We are looking at ‘The Indian in the Cupboard’ this week and start off with some comprehension on chapters 1-3.  We will then be looking at how to write an effective book review.  In grammar we are looking at punctuating speech and in spellings we will be looking at expanding vocabulary and the boys will be given a list of spellings taken from the class reader.
